The AI Storyteller: A New Chapter in Creative Dominance A recent study published in the journal Judgment and Decision Making has shed light on the capabilities of AI generated storytelling.
In the study, 1,682 adults were asked to read short stories written by humans or AI systems. Participants rated AI generated stories as more absorbing and of higher quality than those penned by humans.
However, a crucial twist emerged when participants thought they were reading a human written story. They gave it higher ratings – even if it was actually an AI product.
